Terms and Conditions
Payment Obligation
a. By accepting these terms, you agree that the full term or fee for the Holiday Programme or XO Event is payable from the agreed start date, regardless of your child’s attendance.
b. Payment is required in full to secure your child’s place in the Cross Over Basketball (XO) programme(s).
c. Failure to make timely payments may result in additional fees or penalties.
d. Non-attendance or withdrawal during the term does not exempt you from the obligation to pay any remaining fees. No refunds or credits will be provided for missed sessions.
Cancellations & Refunds
a. Programme Cancellations by XO: If XO cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, facility closure), efforts will be made to reschedule. However, refunds will not be provided.
b. Withdrawals by Participants: If you choose to withdraw your child after the term has begun, no refunds or credits will be issued.
c. Medical Withdrawals: In cases of serious injury or illness preventing participation for the remainder of the term, a partial refund or credit may be considered at XO’s discretion, provided medical documentation is supplied
Payment Default
a. Failure to make payments on time may result in your child being unable to attend coaching sessions until outstanding payments are settled.
b. Late payment fees may apply, as outlined in the payment schedule.
Reservation of Spot
a. To secure a place in the Cross Over Basketball (XO) programme, you must complete the registration/enrollment process for your child before they attend any session.
b. Failure to complete enrollment may result in your child’s spot being offered to other interested participants.
Cancellation and Refunds
a. If you cancel before the term starts, a refund may be issued at the discretion of Cross Over Basketball.
b. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations after the term has commenced, except in extenuating circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Code of Conduct
At Cross Over Basketball (XO), we are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. Our core values of Respect, Leadership, and Communication guide our programme, and all players, parents, and guardians are expected to uphold them at all times.
a. Respect – Players must show respect towards coaches, teammates, equipment, opponents, and officials at all times. Disrespectful behavior, discrimination, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
b. Leadership – Players are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, demonstrate a positive attitude, and support their peers both on and off the court
c. Communication – Open, honest, and respectful communication is key to a positive team environment. Players should listen actively, express themselves clearly, and resolve conflicts constructively.
d. Zero Tolerance for Bullying – XO has a strict no-bullying policy. Any form of verbal, physical, or cyber bullying will not be tolerated. Reports of bullying will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the programme without refund.
e. Parents and guardians are expected to model these values and demonstrate good sportsmanship when attending games or training sessions.
Liability & Waiver
a. By enrolling in XO programmes, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation.
b. XO, its staff, and affiliated venues will not be held liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during participation in the programmes.
c. XO reserves the right to modify or update these terms as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants.
d. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is physically and medically fit to participate.
Health & Safety
a. Parents/guardians must inform XO of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect their child’s participation.
b. If a player becomes unwell or injured during a session, XO staff will provide basic first aid and contact the parent/guardian if further action is required.
c. XO is not responsible for any injuries sustained during participation in the programme. Parents/guardians acknowledge that basketball is a physical sport with inherent risks.
d. Players must wear appropriate footwear and bring water to all sessions.
Privacy and Data Protection
a. Personal information provided by customers will be collected and stored solely for managing the coaching programme.
b. All personal data will be handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Agreement
By enrolling in Cross Over Basketball programmes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
